Rui's Academy Test

"Good luck. Please state the deck you are using." The teacher emerged into the Duel Stadium, brandishing his Duel Disk.

"my fire deck which i call fire rose"He said looking at the tacher.

"Good luck then! Remember to use your starter deck!" The teacher's Duel Disk flashed. "You may start!"

'Ok and ok"Rui's duel disk opened and flashed he stood there waiting for his opponet to go.

The teacher wordlessly drew 5 cards and the life point counters on the side of the stadium flashed.
"You may start."

Rui draws five cards and says "lets go"Rui yelled

Kanchou came to watch...

He thinks Rui can win that...

"You are starting the game..." The examiner spoke slowly.

You can beat him easily Rui!! Shouted Kanchou...

"ok"Rui said "first i play a face down defence card and lay down a trap card AND I END MY TURN"He said

"Draw." The examiner felt miffed that day but he didn't let that control the duel. With a loud sigh he drew a card.
"I summon Solar Flare Dragon. At the end of each of my turns, you lose 500 lp when this card is face up on the field." The examiner explained. "Solar Flare has 1500 attack. I declare an attack against your face-down monster!" He called out, thrusting his arm forward.

"i activate my trap NEGATE ATTACK"rui says

"All right, my attack doesn't work this turn." The examiner withdrew his hand and played one spell/trap face down on the field.
"You lose 500 life from Solar Flare. Turn end."

"ok i draw a card then i flip summon Swarm of Scarabs and destroy your solar flare dragon"Rui said "i lay down a face down spell card and play in attack mode Reflect Bounder and end my turn"He said

"Argh." The examiner gasped slightly as his dragon was destroyed.
"All right, you have swarm of scarabs and reflect bounder and two face down spells or traps." The examiner observed. "I have one face down spell/trap."
"Draw." The examiner drew a card. He smacked how own card on the field.
Another Solar Flare Dragon.
"Four cards in hand and end."

The examiner groaned as the lightning bolt struck and destroyed his monster. He was thrown back as he was attacked by two monsters.
"All right!" He called, standing up again. He flipped his spell/trap face-up just as Rui ended his turn.
"Just Desserts. You lose 500 life for every monster you have on your side of the field."

He then drew a card, making 5 cards in his hand and nothing on the field.
"I set one monster and one spell/trap, end." He called out.

Kanchou called...

I here some screaming coming from the stadium so i went in to see what was going on. I then saw that Rui was battling. I decided to stay and watch the battle. As i was going up the stairs i see Kanchou. I start going towards him. Hey Kanchou, whats been going on so far ? Who's winning ?

Kanchou said with joy in his words, "Rui is winning!! 7000 lps for him, and 6400 lps for the teacher, Rui rocks!!"... He shouted again "Teach him how to duel, Rui!!!"

"Actually I think he has 6500 lp or less because of Solar Flare from the first turn!" The examiner called up to the stands where the spectators were watching.

Well either ways this duel can be close. I mean Rui is not letting the teacher attack at all. But is still has less LP because of the Solar Flare's effect. Rui needs to find a way to net let the monsters effect damage Rui's LP. And Rui can't underestimte his teacher.

sudden;y Dj heared screaming and entered the stadium seeing the teacher and Rui dueling he saw Sasuke and Kanchou and sat next to them "so...looks like a close battle the victor still seems undecided dont you both think?"
