Peir Drama *Gasp* (open to who ever wants to join)

Cam was sitting on a wood post staring at the dark blue water, it was partly sunny and he was bored. He had his Red Slifer Jacket on. He thinking about some duel strategies. "Hmm.. that just might work.." He said talking to him self

"Heh , so your the one named Cam..? Have you gotten any better from when we last met? Or do you need another whooping?" Ace would say as he would approch Cam "Whats up..heh.." he said once again trying to be annoying

"Hmm..wouldn't you like to know." Cam said as he turned to face Ace. "Nothing much..just thinking about my deck." He said trying to be nice

"Heh , your deck ..well can't help you there ...well I could but I prefer not to it's much funnier to see people suffer in duel's heeh...and then when they lose I earn bragging rights Like calling them slifer Slackers , hehh how fun is that annoying people my specialty .."Ace would say as he would smile occasionally

"Oh really...." Cam said as he looked back at the water. "I bet people dont like when you call them that...well i doesnt matter, Cause it's not like your gonna stop anyway."

"So very true hehe.."

"Well then....how has the school been for you?"

"Great , you hehehhh.."

"Fine so far.."

"Well , I'll be on my way" Blaze said as he got up from his seat and walked away.

"Yeah...whatever." Cam said as he just sat there still thinking

Faith hated appearances. Appearances made her look like an 8-year-old girl. She couldn't help being vertically challenged. Nor could she help being slenderly built or having wide eyes. At first glance, she looked like a timid little girl. Which was why she hated appearances. Although she'd be the first to admit that they had their uses. One thing that Faith had learnt quickly when she first came to work at the academy as an assistant technician was that on this island everyone was judged by what they wore. Slifer's were looked down on, Obelisk's flaunted their power and abilities. And Faith, skulking around in her light blue overalls, hair tied up with a ribbon, looking for all the world like a little girl who had got lost on the island, wasn't given a second glance. In the island's pecking order, she was lower than the rats, just there to make sure the equipment kept working. Sometimes, that was how she liked it. Other times, she wondered what it would be like to be a student, although she'd never had a love for Duel Monsters.

Unlike the boy who was sitting on the pier. Slifer, according to his jacket, and had just finished a conversation with a Ra. Faith doubted it had been particularly long or friendly, but it didn't matter to her anyway. She had come to the pier to watch the sun set, as she did whenever she had free time and wanted to think. Seeing the Slifer, however, she hesitated. Chances were, he wouldn't notice her anyway, but if he did, she doubted she'd be especially friendly back. She paused at the foot of the pier, letting the Ra student brush past her, and wondered what to do, increasingly aware of the fact that she looked like an 8-year-old.

Cam was still focusing at the water thinking. Till he noticed that there were footsteps coming toward him. Cam payed them no mind he just said, "Whats up."

Faith looked at the boy sitting at the end of the pier. He'd heard her approach, not surprising seeing as she'd made her usually quiet footsteps as loud as possible to announce her arrival. She stopped just behind the boy, taking in as much of his appearance as she could from his back.
"Nothing much..." She replied to his query, her voice high and child-like, "Just came to see the sun..."

"Oh..."Cam said as he turned to face the voice. It was a Girl who apparently Cam didnt know. "Well..um enjoy i guess..."

Faith studied the boy as he turned to look at her, vaguely recognising him. Most people didn't notice her moving throughout the school, but she'd learnt the appearances of a lot of the students and picked up their names from wayward conversations, or from setting up the stadium for them to take part in a duel. She'd also checked over pretty much every duel disk in the school to check they were working properly, or to fix them if they weren't.
"Cam Onoda?" she guessed, recognising him mostly from the duel disk on his arm. People were always surprised when she suddenly came out with their names, but let their guard down because she looked so young.
"I'm Faith. I'm one of the Academy's technicians."
She gave him a small smile and sat down at the end of the pier, making sure to leave a lot of space between them.

Cam looked wide eyed at her. he was shocked at how she knew his name. "Well...Faith....thats a cool name." Cam said being Friendly "And I think i've seen you before around the school aswell." He added

Faith gave a small, humourless laugh, "I doubt that," She said softly, her eyes watching the sun as it began to dip below the horizen, "I tend to stick to the shadows..."
Actually, she was surprised that he hadn't said anything to assume that she was younger than him. She presumed he was just being friendly, so decided to return the behaviour;
"What are you doing out here?"

"Well I came out here to look at the water and think about my deck at the same time but i dont think i've came up with a strategy yet." He said as he began to focus on the water.

"Oh..."
Faith genuinely had no idea how to reply to that; her brother had tried to teach her the game when they were younger, but she never really enjoyed it and hadn't played it since he'd left home. Still, Cam was trying to be friendly, so she thought she might as well try to have a decent conversation,
"What... Type of deck do you have?" she asked awkwardly, knowing it would be obvious that she barely knew anything about the game.

Cam looked at her Faith " A deck with A bunch of fire types in it...so i guess it's a fire type deck."He said then he turned his head back to the water.

"Hmmm... So what's the problem?" Faith asked, swinging her legs lazily. The sun was beginning to sink beneath the waves, casting a pale orange light over eveything and sparkling off the water with a radient gleam. It almost made her smile.

"Well im still thinking of strategies to use at this tournament coming up soon, i hear the winner gets some cool prizes ." He said

"Yep," Faith said idly, "It sounds like the prize'll be good..."
The approaching tournament was the talk of the city, and Faith had been working overtime to get the technology in good enough condition. Not that she minded; Faith was happiest when sorting through electronic components and revelled in the challenges the upcoming tournament was creating for her.
"I think that sometimes it's foolish to trust too much in a strategy," she mused aloud, "I mean, if you're relying on you opponent doing a certain thing, you'll be lost as soon as they do something you don't expect..."

"That's why you prepare for that all ready." Cam smirked. "It's not that hard." he said about to get up . it was getting late.
